Default Hello, New here

Hello everyone and furbabies,
I just purchased a yorkie/silky yesterday. I couldn't help myself she was way to adorable to be sitting in a petshop. We have been discussing adding a new member to our family for a long time. The discussion was leaning to a savannah (part jungle cat/part domestic cat) or a monkey. Hubby was happy when I called and said I found my baby and it only cost $450.

We have 2 human sons Joey 12yrs and D.J 4yrs. Shortly after the birth of our youngest I was forced to have a hysterectomy. I have always wanted a daughter and lately with the lil guy going off to school I have been feeling sort of empty. We also have 3 german shepherds Zoie 4yrs, Angel (zoies daughter) 2 years, Joker 1year, 1 old old lab mix Zackary 12years, a siamese-chaching aka chachi 1.5 yrs, and a hemmingway mix cat Samwise (sons cat) guestimated to be about 3. I love all my pets deeply but I wanted something to dress up, do its hair and take all over. A lap dog.. Can you imagine german shepherds with ribbons and dresses while being totted all over?

Our new addition is being called: Dixie for today. I cannot find her perfect name yet. Yesterday I was calling her pippie as in pippie long stocking or lil peepot. She is 10 weeks old.She has the most outgoing personality I have ever seen in a dog. She came into my home and met these 4 large dogs ranging 45-85 lbs like they were always her buddies. She wants to play with the cats, funny thing the cats have been with big dogs and love on them yet run from this tiny terror. Her tail isnt docked which I am happy about. She wags all the time and I love seeing how happy she is. Her tail gets going so fast I wonder if its going to fall off. I cannot tell if she will look more yorkie or more silky, the puppies I've seen of both breeds look very similar.

Expect to see alot of photos, Dixie & I will be playing dress up and taking lots of pics. Nice to meet everyone. It is time to stop rambling and take her to vet for her puppy check.
