I think the running around and the peeing are separate issues. Loki runs top speed in circles around the house after class, after daycare, even after a walk. I just figured he was burning extra energy! He even does it after a bath! When he was a puppy he would get excited about a new toy or whatever and have an - simply because puppies have a one track mind and he didn't want to take a break from his toy to go outside. Now he still gets excited, he just doesn't have the accidents any more.

For the peeing I would confine her at that time. Confining her when you know she is likely to have accidents is a great way to prevent them! I totally agree about the Kong and letting her calm down.
