Yep, .5 would be half a pound so .8 is 14 oz. Lola was that exact weight at 7weeks and now at 7 months old she's 2 1/2 pounds.
Keep in mind, some start off slow but can catch up in weight(worms, not getting enough to eat, etc.). With a small baby you want them to have extra time with their mom so they can get bigger. Most people with tinies won't let them go until they're about 3 months old(some place even more) just to make sure they don't have any health problems. It may take a little longer for her to come home but it'll be worth the wait! |
