This reminds of of a lady who I once barely knew who begged us (other moms who had children in the same playschool class as her child) all for baby stuff including highchairs and strollers, cribs, play pens all for free. Her husband was losing his job and she needed it all so she could start watching children in her home to support their poor family.
We all helped out and gave her all the stuff she needed. We found out a couple weeks later her hubby never was losing his job and she sold the stuff in the paper and made quite a small fortune.
She later told another friend about what she did to us, laughing at how dumb we all were, little did she know I also knew that friend too. It was not pretty the next time I saw her.
