I think there are plenty of good breeders out there. I'm not sure how one is to distinguish between BYB and any other small breeder.
I agree if you want to buy a show quality dog then you are going to have to wait, but there are lots of breeders that have good healthy puppies that do not come from champion lines.
You just have to ask around and get recommendations. Don't buy on impulse. Ask them for references. Ask a lot of questions, and if you aren't satisfied with the answers, then move on. |
