my duke hurt his little back legs a few weeks ago. i'm not sure what did it, but i think he fell off the bed when trying to jump on it and came down hard on his back legs. i took him to a retired vet. since it was the weekend and he gave me a pet therapy pad that i could put in the microwave to heat or put in the freezer to cool and he loved the heat. he didn't really show he was in pain, he was still wanting to walk around and such... but he wasn't playing and just didn't seem himself. but, after a night (i slept in the floor with him to make sure he wouldn't jump anywhere!) he was back to his normal self. guessin' he was just a little sore and nothing major. i'm takin' him for a well doggie check-up soon and i'm going to have them check him out for any thing he may be tryin' to hide. hope things go well for you and that he's just a little sore and is back to normal soon.
