Default demodex

I agree, bitches who produce pups with demodex should be spayed...I thought I thinking was too harsh to post that..but have read a bit today. Demodex is quite different then the average bout of worms or a run of coccidia in a kennel...bitches are constantly under the stress of breeding and nursing...thus making demodex an ongoing problem for many breeders.

Do you know a puppy with demodex should not receive any vaccinations until the problem is well under control?....they do not need the additional viral components circulating in the system...you are trying to "reinstate" the immnue system function, not add to the collective damage.
It takes about 2 full years for the immune system to mature in a toy dog, add poor conditions to the pot and you have compromised dogs for a long time..so the demodex can reoccur..

Also no heartworm meds and flea meds...also fleas shampoos...not all pups will have liver problems from dips, but many Yorkies have dicey livers to start with..you do not want to overload the liver with unnecessary toxins...that is why I do not rountinely worm my pups..a stool check is done first.
