I understand but not everyone teaches their children respect, especially in this day and age and Yorkies are tuff little critters but it is so easy for them to get hurt if they jump from your arms in excitement so I understand why they do not want children. It could be that she has never been around children and she does not interreact well with them. But for whatever the reason, I know they are only concerned about what is best for the furbaby. It's too bad that peope with children who are unruly and lack a respect for small furbabies spoil it for ones like you that seem to do what is right. So Please please do not be offended by that statement.
