Several and I mean several dogs eat cat poop, they love it in fact!!
You want to know why they do this???
You know how dogs love eating cat food?? Well, dogs having incredible senses, can detect your cats undigested food and nutrients in your cat's poop. It is called Coprophagia.
You can get tablets to give your dog to stop this behavior, you can sprinkle stuff on your cat's food and I heard you can give your dog a small can of pumpkin and this will stop it too. I have never really had this problem so I don't know how well these things work.

My cats' litter box is upstairs. The stairs are gaited off so that the dogs can't go up there but the cats can jump over the gate with much ease.
It is disgusting, but fairly common. Nothing to panic over unless your cat is very ill and can pass the disease to your dog by the dog eating the cat's feces.
