I am currently taking a mini vacation and was going to take my yorkie along with me. I had everything packed and ready to go 5 hours before my departure time. I remembered putting Buttercup in his crate before picking it up and heading to the airport. Well, I failed to look inside his crate to make sure he was really in there but when I arrived and went to claim my luggages he was not in his crate!
I freaked out and immediately notified the people at the airport. They had no answers for me and sent me on my way. I refused to leave and was escorted out by security.
I called my mom for her to go check my house to see if he was there and he wasn't. So 3 hours after I went to my hotel I get a call. They found a dog and failed to give me descriptions of "the dog" they found. I rushed there and there was Buttercup shivering, shaking, matted, and covered in mud. I was furious. I want them to be held accountable for what happened but they refused. I had to take him to the groomer and have him shaved down and now he won't come outside of his crate! What should I do?
