Thanks I appreciate all the replies and great advice. It makes sense to get him used to the place and the groomer first. I have been by to talk with her a couple of times (without him unfortunately) and I think she will do as good a job as can be done with a moving target. We will definitely need patience because he is just as stubborn and hard headed as he is cute.
He loves to go for a ride in the car and enjoys it when we get out with him on the leash and he gets to explore a new place, but when I open the door to the vets office and he gets a whiff the brakes go on and I have to carry the little wiggle worm to the table for the vet to examine him - then the wrestling match is on, but I guess I wouldn't have him any other way - loads of personality and way cool.
Thanks again everyone for the advice. If it takes a dozen trips to get it done then thats what we'll do. |
