talking about mats.. it totally crept up on me and my boyfriend.. our poor outdoors doggie had his butt matted so bad when we shaved it.. you could see the look of sigh of relief! plus it's way hot now.. he's much happier and better looking!
but on the other hand.. i had to get oreo shaved the first time i took him to the groomers because his previous owners never combed him.. and he was very matted and i didn't know cause i thought since he was half pom, he was supposed to be a ball of fluff.. lol.. but it does grow back!
just takes time.
