Thank you for all of your wonderful advice.

Well, I don't feed him right before we leave. I actually plan the car rides and carry a pee pad, towel, blanky, his toys, and doggy wipes. He doesn't get nervous at all, but does get groggy and immediately begins to salivate non-stop. The saliva runs down his little chest and in no time he is soaked

I keep drying him but again the saliva is non-stop. Then he starts gagging and up comes a bolous of mucous. I started him on missing link too since I had read on another post that it helped them with their yorkie.

I guess I too am going to have to resort to the pills. I will bring this up at his next vet appt in 3 weeks.
