 Can I vent please?
UGHHHHHHHHHHHHH.
Alright.
I'm in the Haunted River Walk. a fundraiser for the 8th graders. Tonight was our second night doing it. Last night the groups were great and everything went wonderfully. Tonight couldn't POSSIBLY have gone worse. First of all, the rules of the walk are we can't touch the people, and the people are not allowed to touch us. ever. There were these few drunk people, a lady and 2 men. My friend Jessica, in our skit, starts out by pretending to be dead then she comes out to say her lines. So she's hanging there and the drunk lady comes up to her and gives her a hug. Jessica said "I'm sorry ma'am, you're not allowed to touch me. Please back off." and then the 2 guys were like "hug her again!" then the lady goes up to Jessica and grabs her hand and goes "oh my god! you're so cold!" the she blew on her hand. By now we were ALL mad and my friend Emily went up to her and said "Stop it right now. we will call security." So she finally stopped and that group got past us.
Me and Diamond have to hide in the woods and so this group was walking up and they were being VERY loud and obnoxious. During Emily's burning she was screaming and one person was like "oh shut up!" and after I heard the "f" word for the 6th time I came out and I said, "excuse me for one second. Ladies and Gentlemen, we're out here, we're tired, we're freezing, we're working very hard for you. If you don't feel like being polite please go to the end of the path right now." then this person was like "make me." and I actually yelled "security" and they came and took the entire group off of the path because they were all being very nasty.
And on top of it all, the strobe light for my death scene blew out just as a new group was coming so we had to improvise VERY quickly. But I'm not too worried about that because stuff like that just happens lol. (we fixed it btw)
I'm just so annoyed because we went through about 1000 people tonight and maybe 2 groups weren't rude. Those were the 2 groups with the teachers. We were working so hard for them and all they could do was talk back to us and be rude about everything. |
