My mom broke the news to me that Gizmo's girlfriend, Ruby had to be put to sleep yesterday. She was only 3 1/2 years old, and her owner bought her because she wanted to breed again. Gizmo was going to be bred with her, but because of his personality we didn't breed him, and Ruby never got her puppies. She was a very sweet little girl. She had a kidney infection (or disease, can't remember which) and nothing could be done for her
I was heartbroken when my mom told me. I hope she's not suffering anymore, poor baby
