i sprinkled borax on my carpet. and left it on for about 1/2 hr then vaccumed it up.
I called the company asking if it was safe to use around pets and the lady kept insisting that since 20 mule team borax has not been tested for that purpose , she would not reccomend it.
I also sprayed vinegar all over the place to get rid of fleas. I vacuumed everything over and over again. about 2 X's a day. cracks and crevices of sofa and chairs. I washed bedding every day. I finally got rid of them. this was the only time I have ever had to deal with fleas.
good luck these darn things are no fun to deal with.
