That's so funny!!!! I kept Cali in her playpen when I was gone until she was 14 months old. I am only gone for a couple of hours a day at most so she was fine and I felt better knowing she was secure. Now she has free run of the house and she usually sleeps on my dtrs bed which looks out the front of the house and watches for me to come home or she lays with Maya my Pom.
