Deus had his first drool-free day yesterday. He is pretty much back to his fun & feisty self. His recovery is pretty remarkable. He is able to eat canned puppy nutro food at this time, but we welcome anthing that will take the place of a feeding tube and syringe. He apparently still has some stricture because he is unable to eat any food that has pieces of rice, etc. This website has been wonderful. All of the advice regarding food
and the support has been a lot of help. During his recovery we have found that foods containing corn or by-products aggravated his throat. I have always had dogs, but have never payed any attention to the ingredient labels. My eyes have been opened.
