dilemma w/ puppy getting sick hey guys, I just wanted some advice. I have a dilemma, it seems that everytime cash plays with my cousin's yorkie, tweety (8 mo.), he starts having symptoms of worms infection (i.e. white stringy stuff in poop, scooting butt etc.) the first time he played with her, a week after he was diagnosed with Giardia and coccidia which, could be a coincidence since i had just gotten him 2 weeks prior. he has since been treated and his stool sample came back negative or any signs of internal parasites. the last time he played with her was about a week ago and again two weeks ago and yeaterday i noticed that his poop was funny looking and he was scooting his butt a lot. so, today i dropped off a stool sample at the vet and am waiting for the results. now my problem is, how do i tell my aunt that her dog may be getting my dog sick? she seems to think that her dog is perfectly healthy and she recently got spayed but i'm not sure if they did a stool analysis during the whole process. I guess what i'm trying to ask how do i word it so that she doesn't get offended cuz you could say that she prides herself on NOT having spent so much money on her vet bills as opposed to me. I don't want to offend her in any way because I'm not certain that it was her yorkie that got my puppy sick although that would be a reasonable assumption since her dog is the only dog cash plays with. Plus, tweety is really aggressive towards cash but i'm not sure if that's just how dogs play but to me it looks aggressive due to the "rough and tumble" play. sometimes it looks like she chases him then bites him and he yelps and starts running away from her (keep in mind that she's twice his size) but then 2 seconds later, he goes to play with her again after we separate them. I just think it's kind of rude to say please don't bring your dog over until she has been checked out or if she is going to be aggressive towards him. I don't think that is something that they can control (the aggression).
sorry for the long post. i'm a wordy person.
Thanks for all the suggestions!
