Congratulations on your new puppy! You must be sooo excited. I got my baby in August at 11 weeks...she's 20 weeks now and doing great! Just like others said, definitely get the Nutri Cal and always have it on hand. The breeder I got mine from had me giving it to her 3 times a day because she was so tiny...now I don't give it as much but whenever I leave my house with her I always make sure I have that on hand. She absolutely loves it and will do anything for it!
Another thing that I bought before I got my puppy was an exercise pen, which they have at PetSmart but I got mine from a local pet store. I remember it was the last thing I got because I didn't really want to spend $60 for an exercise pen but honestly it was one of the best things I got! It made keeping her in a small area of the house so easy! That is what you want to do when you first get your puppy...confine them to one area of the house until they are housetrained. It worked great! What we did is set up her crate in the living room and then put the exercise pen around it (securely so she couldn't get out) so that she could sleep in her crate when she wanted and put a puppy pad on one side and food & water on another and to this day whenever we have to go out we put her in her pen and she has the option of going inside her crate to sleep or playing in her pen. She is housetrained now so when we are home she is allowed to run around the house and play. It will take time for your puppy to learn where to go potty but be patient! I thought mine would never learn but she did within a couple of weeks! Good luck with your new baby!
