Our vet charges a small fortune for everything. He is the only vet in the whole county, so he can charge whatever he wants and we have to pay
I was paying $17 for Nutri-Cal before I started buying it online, $10 for Esbilac Milk Replacer and he will sell the puppy shots and have one of the tech's show you how to give your dog shots at home...but he charges $20.00. I started giving my dogs all their shots at home except Rabies they go to the vet for that. I like our vet and he is a nice guy but $75 for an office visit seems too much to me, I don't care to take our dogs if they aren't acting the way they should or if I suspect something is wrong. Our pets go for a yearly check-up and that is it if we can avoid it.
