Been there... done that. Ahia once slipped out the door at my sister-in-law's house. IN OHIO! I think she was running home. going down the very busy country highway. I started running in the middle of the road. I figured if they were not going to stop for a small dog in the road they better stop for me. so to protect her I made them stop for me. she stopped to greet a stranger and he put her in his car and brought her back to me.
