If you're just doing shots you should find a shot clinic in your area where they don't charge the office visit fee. i know Banfield, inside Petsmarts, does shot clinics every Tuesday and you do have to pay for the shot, but not for the office visit. My vet is with Banfield by the way and they have "wellness plans" that cover all the shots, ear checks, teeth, spay/neuter, and pretty much any other routine things puppies need for 20 bucks a month. The start up fee was 99. If you trust the vet it's a good way to go.
