I am sorry that you had your feelings hurt. Sometimes people (including myself) can be a little abrupt.
I do hope that
if you continue on with the idea of showing/breeding you first find a true "show exhibitor" that will guide you on your way. I do not mean someone who just has a "breeding program". That is the best advise I can give you.
