Default Is vet trustworthy?

We have Sparky for almost one month. He is very cute and healthy. However, three weeks ago, we took Sparky to vet for getting his second shot, vet charged us $130 for that. And we took him to this vet again yesterday for his third shot. We told vet that Sparky vomitted twice in the morning, vet checked everything and said he seems fine. Then I told him that Sparky scatchs his ear a lot recently, Vet checked his ear and told us that Sparky may have ear infection, and we have to postpone the third vaccine to next week. However, when we went to the reception and got to know that we own them $120 for only 5 minutes, including almost $60 professional consultation fee. And we were told that next week, we have to pay exam fee again for the third shot (every time for the shot, we have to pay the exam fee) Does anyone can tell me if it's reasonalbe? Thanks!
