Bella is pee pad trained for nights. She was using pads when I got her and I just continued to watch her and reinforce her using them. Now she goes outside during the day,and uses pads at night (she doesn't usually need to). Training her to go out was more work. I constantly watched her, and took her out at ANY sign of needing to go. I repeated "Bella go potty" over and over until she went, then I praised her and gave her a treat. You could to the same with the pad training.
