Now, the problem is that she still insists on peeing on my moms area rug in under the dining room table. I don't know why she does this??? We have some area rugs at home, so I don't think it's because she hasn't experienced a rug before. Each time she does her thing there we clean it with Nature's Miracle, so I don't think it's the smell that makes her keep going there. My mom thinks Esme is the cutest, so she doesn't get upset. But, I am wondering, will she ever be potty trained in my mom's house too?? When dogs are completely pee pad trained, does that mean they will ONLY go on the pads wherever they are? Or will she only go on the pads, at home?
I am really curious about this.
Mari | Tyler is pee pad trained and he does great at home (with his few accidents), but in overall he is great. When we go out I always take pads or newspaper with us and he again in overall does it in the pee pads and if he does not go until we get home or we are in a discret place and he will feel comfortable and go.
This is far fetched, but maybe he likes the softness of the rug? |
