i thought i wouldn't be so nervous about it because i helped the vet millions of times before spay tiny babies and nothing has ever gone wrong. But this morning while i was in the waiting room she was shaking like she knew this was a different type of vet visit and after i signed all the papers and handed her to the tech i felt so anxious. i wanted to take her back. Then i saw the vet and i told him he better take extra special care of her today. he knows this is my first dog and he knows how much i wanted one while i was working for him.

i know she'll be fine but in the back of my mind i have this thought of getting a horrible phone call.

surgery at the hosp goes from 12-4 so she may be on the table this very minute
