Any time one of my dogs was sick, I would call in or leave work in a heart beat. I just don't tell them it's because of a dog....I say I am sick or my husband, or I have a personal emergency. Most people wouldn't understand that you want off work for a dog.....so just make up a white lie. It's for a good cause!
