I really love mine. I got the Brother 270 so its a simple model but has just enough pre-programed things. Its fun to learn and practice!!
Now I just need to try and save (or ask Santa) for a PED Basic. It is a program generator to make whatever you design into a embroidery. You just design on your computer and put it on the card and plug it into your machine....
Oh- if anyone else is reading this and has one or had one and upgraded and is willing to let theirs go pritty cheap or payments

Our Walmart sells it for around $125.00 which is not a bad price for what can be done with it but we are still working on back bills so no splurging right now.
