DVM stands for Doctor of Veterinary Medicine - it is the degree given by all but one Veterinary School.

VMD is a degree given by the University of Pennsylvania Veterinary School - they are the only school that offers that degree. Same thing, just different title. I guess they want to differentiate between their graduates and others!
