It might sound silly, but water supplies, even in different parts of the same city, can have different tastes and chemicals which can cause your puppy to stress even more than it already will by leaving it's home. When we brought Crystal home we took a gallon jug to the breeder's house, filled it with the water she was supplying to the pups, and over the next 2 weeks gradually added our water to it to dilute to our water with no drastic change for her. Remember, when we go to Mexico it's not the water that makes you sick, it's the abrupt change. Best of luck and congratulations.
