I think federal regulations say that the area the pet flies in has to be temperature controlled and pressurized. I just called Alaska Airlines (who we usually fly) and they said it will only be $112.86 each way through them.. and I can use the same health certificate for the flight there and back (many airlines the certificate expires after 8-10 days). $225.72 is only a few dollars more than what I'd pay to board him or have someone puppysit him. Then he'll get to open his presents from Santa with us on Christmas too!
