I sent the breeder pictures of Angel's surgical site after surgery as it's bumpy. She said, "I would get a little aloe gel and put it on her scar it will help it heal and should take some of that rough appearance away." The vet said it would take 2-3 months for the scar to go away.

Do I buy pure aloe vera gel from a health store? I went to Dominion and asked the pharmacist if they sell aloe gel. They only have Solarcaine w/ aloe gel so I didn't get it. I thought I'd ask the YT experts.
