Shopstump,cavaliers are lovely dogs aswell,they are not that big really,not much bigger than some yorkies.They are more of a lap dog than the yorkies,they just love been cuddled and pampered,their coat is a lot easier to take care of although they do shed a bit,and you need to clean their ears more often,The biggest difference I can see in them is that they dont bark as much
For anyone considering getting one be careful about the breeder you choose as cavaliers can have a heart condition which is hereditary but a good breeder wont breed a dog with this in its pedigree.feel free to ask me any more questions about cavaliers
