I usually put mine up the week of Thanksgiving to have them up and ready for the 1st week of December.
I put up 2 trees and both are very big. So I spend a good 3 -5 days decorating each tree! Then to decorate the rest of the house! I take all my regular decor down and put up all Holiday stuff! It takes me awhile to do all that. It takes me a long time to get it all together and put up and looking good!
This year I may start right after Halloween, because I am having family come in for the 1st week of December. And we will be having a huge family gathering! And of course its at my house. So I have to be ready by December 2!!!!
SO give me a good month to get everything ready!!!! I am haivng the party at my house this year, so I need to be ready!!!!
The Holidays come and go sooo quickly, you should put up your Holiday stuff whenever you feel you are ready for it! And if that means before Turkey day, then go for it! If not, wait! If people get mad that its up before they feel it should be up, well, too bad. I tell them to not look at my house then! HAHAHAH! Its the Holidays! And its a time to be happy! And my trees and my holiday decore makes me happy!!!! I love looking at it! I would keep it up all year round if I could! LMAO!
