I have Max, who's 6 lbs. (the giant of his litter; his one sister who lived next door to us was about 4 lb, and his other sister was only 2 or 3 lbs....really tiny!) and a year and a half old now. I think you'll have less problems with a larger dog; at least that's what I've been told. It's wonderful that you gave him a home!
