Wow! Thanks everyone for such a nice welcome! All your babies are SO ADORABLE, it just makes me smile looking at the pictures of them on your avatars! I'm so happy that I got my little Max~ I didnt' think I wanted a Yorkie (b/c I knew NOTHING about them!), but, I'd just lost one of my beloved parrots and my neighbor had a breeder bringing over the pups...she insisted that I come over to see them b/c she thought it would help me get over my bird a little bit....I was won over the second I saw Max! My neighbor told me she wanted the little girl, but if I really wanted her, she'd take the male...I was looking at them and didn't know which was which, but I was just hoping that Max was Max, LOL! He was the only puppy with one droopy ear, and I thought it was so cute (it stood up for good about a week later
....I didnt' have a clue!). I took him over to show my husband, thinking he'd say "are you out of your mind?", but he told me if I got rid of my birds (mean man
) I could get a dog. So I reminded him of that, and he said "well, what is this, a miniature German Shepard?", rofl
. He absolutely adores Max too, so it's a wonderful world
. Now I am thinking of getting him a 'sister' but my husband is afraid Max will feel like he's not as special if we do that.....honestly, he worries more about Max than a child, LOL. It's kind of funny/cute. And he always says "that's the best money we've ever spent"...I have to agree
