I had the same problem with my toy poodle and cat. I have yet to give my baby yorkie a bath. Anyhow, I too tried the kitchen sink, kneeling down by the tub, even the hose outside while playing and bribing.......and nothing.

The ONLY way they both learned to be still and actually enjoy the bath is if I get right in the tub with them. I plug the tub and fill it 1/4 up with lukewarm water. I then sit on the tub and put the furball between my knees and gently and slowly wet them down first all while telling them how good they are

The downside.........I can't take a bath by myself now! Everytime they here the tub filling they come right in and stick their paw in the water wanting to come in with me (especially the cat). I usually don't shut the bathroom door due to it just being my husband and I and the pets in our house.

Funny thing, they hate the shower...........I think it startles them. Anyhow, I don't mind getting 'down and dirty' with my furkids. They get a bath every Saturday faithfully and usually just go outside to potty and play
