I have two boys and they have bows in their hair all the time. They are not even boy boys, I just stick to boy colors such a blue and as long as it does not have flowers or anything else girly, they work for me. Some of my family members complain and say they are boys, they shoulden't have boys in their hair. I have to disagree. One of the reasons I was so attracted to the yorkie breed was because of their long beautiful hair. Cutting it off or cutting it short takes away from the special and unique look that I love so much. So my boys have bows. The males in the show rings have bows too, it serves the purpose to keep the hair out of their eyes while yet keeping their beautiful hair long. I couldn't imagine my Scampers not having a bow in his hair and his hair being cut short. I say ignore them and put bows in the hair.
