My heart goes out to you. We too recently lost our Himmy. He was 14 years old with renal failure (kidney failure). I forced fed him 6 times a day with an eyedropper. The vet knew it was hopeless, but didn't want to break my heart. Moke managed to stay with us for two weeks. I had his abdomen drained twice. Finally, God took my baby home. We had him cremated. He now resides in my curio cabinet. Our home was so empty. I needed a baby to take care of. That is when I started researching Yorkies. They are babies all their lives. This is what I needed. Losing a furbaby, menopause, retirement, etc. threw me into depression. Miss Maggie fixed that real fast. I don't have time for depression. It still hurts to think about Moke, but the days are getting better. Holler anytime you need to.
