I bought the 3 and 4 step plastic ones. but up stairs in the bed room I made some from plywood. I used an old sheet to cover it. I cup up pieces and stapled to the wood. I also padded the whole thing with batting.
you did a good job. If I were you I would use the carpet on the steps. I was affraid of spinters in the paws.
