I got Maggie when she was about 12 weeks old...weighing just a hair under two pounds, but sturdy and healthy as anything.

Molly, who only recently joined our family was very near 5 months old when she came to us (at 2 pounds 2 ounces). A good part of the delay with Molly was the breeder trying to determine whether she was ever going to grow large enough to show. (She has a BEAUTIFUL face, which was a good part of why her breeder was holding on to her.) Once she decided she was probably going to remain a "fidget", she agreed to sell her to me.

I know that my breeder said she keeps most of her little ones between 12 and 16 weeks...just to make sure they are pretty well over the blood sugar fluctuations that can happen with these little ones.
