It really doensn't get as hot here as it does with you, but even in our cool (by comparison) summers, Lucy struggles with the heat. Her coat has been clipped very short and is great! Its so much easier to clean and brush so the maintinence is really easy. It keeps her much cooler in the summer and in the winter, we just put a little coat on her, though she doesn't seem to mind the cold even if we don't. I think if I was planning to show her it would be different and I would keep it long, but this way works for all of us and she looks like a cute teddy bear all of the time!
