My yorkie Chloe wears clothes 75% of the time and she seems to like them. We dont have any problem with matting unless she is wearing something that is tight around the arms and thats only if she is wearing it for a long time non-stop. I usually brush before and after I put clothes on her and we dont seem to have any problems. Now my chihuahua tinkerbell doesnt seem to like clothes as much so she only wears clothing when needed, like when its cold, or when she needs to wear a harness I put cute little harness dresses on her.
