 Rain, Rain - Go Away!
In case you guys haven't watched the news lately, it's ark building time in the Houston area. Thank goodness I didn't run into any "lakes" on my way home. I did find it humorous though that the owner of the company departed early and left all us underlings to work until 5:00. No wonder it's hard for us to care!
I'm not in a flood zone, but please pray for those who are. When we get 8 inches of rain in just a few hours, peoples lives are torn apart. This happens every couple of years so you'd think the city engineers would say "duh", we need better drainage, BUT NO, they just keep building houses and leave the infrastructure to fend for itself. I'm in the wrong profession! |
