I love posts that talk about their changing coat colour. I really do find it fascinating although right now I do not have books about it and I just try to read more about it in the forum and online. My baby is about 4 months now..he is with me for about a month already! wow..time flies...and i will post two of his 4 months old picture that i took recently...he still has a lot of tan and black...his face has more tan now than when I first got him. His legs are showing more silver roots and around the tummy (i am not sure if all yorkies are like that as he is my first) and the area on his head and between his eyes are also having silver roots.the fur on the behind of his head where we usually pet seem sparse.His coat does not mat easily and kind of look shiny but I am not sure which coat group he belongs to (as in wiry, cottony, silky or woolly). And o..his back does not have silver roots and is all black. |
