Sounds like a good plan to me. If you are not attached to the home you now have and are willing to relocate if you get tired of it, I too think you should go for it.

The only problems I have heard of is from people who financially have to sell their home to purchase the rv and then when they decide they want to settle down, cannot afford to purchase the home they want.

I wouldn't want to give up my home because I do want to have a place to come home and I was born in this town, raised my children here, have grandchildren here & all my friends are here. Also I am the type that always wants an escape clause.

But I do love traveling and would like to take some extended trips. We did have to live in ours for about a month after Hurricane Rita and I have to agree with whoever said to go big the first time. My husband and I, my dd and sil and 2 grandchildren, a cat and a dog are just too much for our fifth wheel. If we were to make very many long trips I would have to upsize.

I would love to hear your experiences when you start doing this. Good luck
