Okay guys, I'm a little concerned because it seems that Bleu is getting more shot than I expected. He got them at 6 (given by the breeder), 9, 12, 15, and he's scheduled to go in for 18 week shots at the vet. Are all these shots necessary? Also, I've been reading about the Lepto shots on here and when I asked my vet about not giving it to him, he told me that they had already given it to him twice without me being aware that it was in the shot. For his next shots he's scheduled to get another distemper/parvo shot, which has lepto and isn't available without it, and a lime shot. Does he actually need these shots? If he never had a bad reaction to the lepto before is it possible for him to still have a bad reaction on the third shot? I don't want to over-vaccinate him. I just want to make sure that my baby stays healthy.
