It is sad that there are sooo many puppymills. I live in puppymill territory. Unfortunately, there are alot of amish where I live and a majority of them are the ones that run puppymills. I never buy a puppy from my town, I always travel to another town, atleast an hour away. I am sure there are some decent breeders here, I just have not found any.
Anyways, each year, a couple times a year, they hold a dog auction, they have just about every breed you can think of there. The sell for cheap but you can definately tell the are puppymill puppies and dogs. It makes me so angry that they do this!!!
I have very little respect for the amish here. There are some really good amish people here which I do respect, but a majority of them have puppymills and are so cruel to the animals even their horses. You woulden't believe the conditions I have seen their horses in.
